The actual render process is virtually the same for painted bricks as it is for ‘raw’ bricks but the materials used are crucial to the success of the project.

However, it is absolutely imperative that a meticulous job is done of the bricks by ‘scuffing’ every painted surface to ensure there is a good base preparation.

Once we are satisfied that we have the perfect base, we then follow with a two coat system requiring 1st coat additives to ensure adhesion to any remaining paint residue.

We will only use the products that are particularly suited to the building structure and climatic conditions such as shade and moisture exposure.
